Diet Or Not, These Smoothies Are Yummy For Any Tummy

Some of us just hate fruits while some of them just love it. Belonging to the first category myself, I eat fruits simply because I should. As much as I hate them, I know they do wonders for us. So I found a creative way of consuming them! By making smoothies.

Smoothies are an answer to all our prayers. Tasty, tangy, filling and glamorous, smoothies are so easy to make that you will fall in love with them once you try them.

Any smoothie is all about assembling the ingredients in a blender and to make it into a puree. Let me share some of my tried and tasted ones…

 1. Banana-Grape Smoothie

This thick and frothy drink is perfect to boost your metabolism. A ripe banana blended well with some grapes will give your day a great start!

2. Grape-Banana-Spinach Smoothie

This smoothie is sure to improve your digestion.  Adding flax seed to this iron rich smoothie will contribute well to the nutrients quotient of your glass.

3. Pineapple-Grape-Mango-Spinach Smoothie

Although mango is a little high in calories, you should definitely have it for all the anti-oxidant it has to offer you. Combined with pineapple, trust me, this drink will surely give you a pleasant day!

4. Breakfast Grape Smoothie

Breakfast will surely get interesting with this smoothie. Just add a handful of muesli and you will be good for a couple of hours.

5. Kiwi-Strawberry Blend

To make this easy smoothie iron and fiber rich, add a spoon of chia seed to kiwi and strawberries. You are going to love this one.

6. Banana-Pomegranate Smoothie

Ideally pomegranate juice should be used to make this drink, however to retain the fiber I use the pomegranate with its seeds. Also, a few leaves of mint in it will be very effective in freeing you from those stress hormones.

7. Pineapple-Banana Smoothie

If you love pina-colada, this smoothie is going to become your favorite. With just an addition of banana to basic pina colada recipe, this refreshing drink is going to keep you cheerful for the day.

8. Dragon Fruit-Banana Smoothie

Although dreadfully bland in taste, dragon fruit is very high on nutrients. In addition to it, the combination of peanut butter and banana tastes brilliant.

9. Dragon Fruit-Strawberries-Banana Smoothie

To make this smoothie, you may take extra strawberries if you cherish it. Along with it I suggest you use nutmeg for this creamy drink.

Prepare the above mentioned smoothie with muesli if you like. Just by replacing ice with yogurt, you may enjoy a variant with this one!

10. Dragon Fruit-Banana-Blueberries Smoothie

This delicious smoothie is packed with energy for a marathon. You may also use avocado- a fruit rich in texture as well as nutrients, to it.

11. Apple-Banana Smoothie

Apart from the apple and banana, you must add almond or cinnamon powder to make it tastier. Blend it with milk or yogurt, to make yourself a drink which is brilliantly rich in flavors.

This smoothie is sure to remind you of your tropical gateways. Prepare it with both fruits in equal proportions. And adding some mint and ice will make it perfect.

Peanut butter has a really palatable taste, it goes brilliantly with banana and apple both. I challenge you to not get addicted to it!

15. Apple-Cinnamon Breakfast Smoothie

Cinnamon powder is very effective for controlling blood sugar levels. This one is more like a breakfast bowl than a quick smoothie, and definitely more filling.

16. Papaya-Orange-Pineapple Smoothie

Add some basil to orange, papaya and pineapple while making this smoothie. Basil will not only make it very refreshing but also leave your skin rejuvenated!

Just the look of this drink is so splendid, if you love food, you are going to be enthralled by this one. If you like to experiment a little, prepare it with dates to make it sweeter.

  • You can always play with differently flavored yogurts. Which are readily available in any local grocery store. Also if you enjoy soy milk or almond milk, you can use them instead of just simple buffalo/cow milk.
  • The muesli mentioned are available at any local medical stores. Most commonly available ones are Kellogg’s (company).
  • There are always the options of adding flax seed, chia seed, pumpkin seed, or any such hundreds of seed available in the market.
  • Add a bit of protein powder to your smoothies each time, if you go to the gym. It will do wonders for your muscles.
