Here’s Why, Later In Life You Will Realise That Your Mother Is The Only Best Friend You’ve Ever Had
You remember, when you were a kid, there was a time when you didn’t want to be seen with your mother anywhere. It was “uncool” to hang out with her. “What will your friends think?” Right? I went through a same phase, where I was looking for friends outside and honestly, I’ve had more than one “Best Friend”. But it’s now, when I am reaching my 30’s, have I realized, that all this while it was my mother who was my best friend.
Whenever I have a bad day, all I need to do is call and rant. She will not judge me. She will not get mad at me for whining all the time.
At the end of the day, I can actually sit with her and gossip about everyone.
Relationship advice? Trust me, there’s no one better than your mother who can guide you there
The day I’ve fought with my friend, all I need to do is go to her and talk about it. She will make sure that I see the bigger picture and end the fight
If there’s someone who’s been rude to me, I know that my mother will not take that lightly
She’s always put me before her. If there’s a fruit left at home and we both equally like it, of course I get to eat it
While almost everyone gave up on me at some point in life, she was the one who stayed, had faith in me and made me reach where I am
She’s the one who’s ALWAYS helped me get permission from dad
She’s the one I go to if I have any health issues. She is my doctor, my dietician, and I know, one cup of maa ke haath ki chai and all the problems in the world will be sorted
I take her to shop with me. She will make sure that I buy what I want and also I stay in budget. Because, Mom!
She always tries to teach me to cook. Because, shaadi ke baad pati ko kya khilaegi. Though, I still haven’t learnt it, she has not given up me as yet
I might not be the ideal daughter for her, but she for sure is an ideal mother for me
So after reading this, go hug your mom!
