Key Players Who Did Not Find A Place In The 2015 Cricket World Cup

World Cup 2015 is just around the corner, squads have been announced and players are gearing themselves up for the big tournament.  However there are some players who have once been key players for their team but are axed from the squad, this one will be a tuff pill.

Yuvraj Singh

Let us start with the fact that Yuvraj Singh was the man of the tournament for 2011 World Cup that India won! It’s sometimes difficult to imagine how the best playing player of the entire tournament can get omitted from the team. With that being said, Yuvraj has been down with poor form and we can’t deny the fact that there’s a gap of good 4 years between both the world cups which is a lot of time. Now we really wish Yuvraj would have made it and we could have seen him smashing the ball like he has done on many occasions.

Dwayne Bravo

How can the team captain not be included in the team? Well that’s what West Indies did. The selectors have excluded experienced all-rounder Dwayne Bravo from the side due to, it would appear, his role in the recent strike by players on the tour of India. Wish the internal issues would have not resulted in such a key player being axed. Psst… we will also miss his dance!

Kieron Pollard

Another West Indian axed for the same reason i.e. involvement in the strike due to pay cut. Pollard would have been a perfect fit for hard hitting batting and medium fast bowling. Politics 2 spirit of the game 0.
