We Went To Kaitlyn’s Beer Garden To Cure Our Midweek Blues, And It Certainly Served The Purpose!

Sonali Gupta

Sometimes after a long day of hectic work, all we want to do is to relax a bit by spending some good time with friends or simply some ‘me’ time. KAITYLN’S BEER GARDEN comes to rescue your weekends with the perfect ambiance to grab a beer and chill with some good music.

The Ambiance

Nestled in the heart of Bandra, the place is decorated with faux grass to add a garden-like feel. The best thing about the interiors is the huge french window, which offers a spectacular view of the Bandra street.

The wooden bench setting and the street view gives it the charm that it has. They have an amazing bar with almost every kind of alcohol you’d want.

The Food

The cuisine is a mix of oriental, Indian and European. We loved the concept of bringing in all these distinctive flavours on one plate, presented in small portions.

We started off with some good appetizers like charcoal chicken and calamansi potato followed by flat spinach noodles with a hint of prawns and tofu.

Still dazzled by the look of the place, we gobbled up on the Chicken tikka pizza that will make you crave for more!

The Veg fried rice with paneer and mushroom gravy was brilliant with the perfect blend of spice and taste.

The Drinks

Well, they had the Kaitlyn’s Beer Festival going on, so the best thing we tried was their specially crafted beer, and we weren’t disappointed at all!

They also have on tap the Botwork Orange – a Belgian Wit with zesty notes; Floating Head that is a Hefeweizen with strong banana and clove hints, and Mojo Raising – a hoppy Midwestern Pale Ale with a beautiful amber tone. Our favourite though was the full-bodied stout Black Mamba with end notes of chocolate.

Apart from the amazing beer, we also tried some of their signature cocktails like Green Fairy and Kiwi Capriana, two of their must try cocktails!

Our Verdict

Overall, we simply loved the ambience, the food, and of course the drinks, especially the craft beer! Neither too loud, nor too dull, one can expect to spend a nice evening here and with the varieties of cocktails and craft beers available, you can be assured of a satisfying meal and tipples!

Meal for two: Rs. 1800

Location: Bandra West

Do visit Kaitlyn’s Beer Garden, more preferably during Kaitlyn’s Beer Festival, and share your experiences with us in the comments.
